  • Lake Granbury
    623 W. Pearl Street

    Spend the day at beautiful Lake Granbury doing a host of activities – from swimming and jetskiing to boating and fishing. City Beach Park, the lake’s wide sandy beach, is a wonderful place for a picnic, featuring a spray park, kayak rentals, picnic pavilions, and a concessionaire for standup paddleboarding, volleyball, and bicycle. A marina on the beach has boat and canoe rentals, as well as a boardwalk where you can go strolling.

  • Stumpy’s
    2323 S. Morgan Street

    This lakeside grill is a favorite destination for Granbury families. It not only serves some of the best fish tacos in town, it also offers watercraft rentals and has a spot where the kids can feed the fish and ducks. The patio offers stunning lake views, and the Sweet Shack sells cupcakes, cookies, and ice cream that you can take with you to the lake.

  • The Doll House Museum
    421 E. Bridge Street

    Located right off historic Granbury Square, this unique museum is a life-sized dollhouse featuring a fascinating collection of dolls, from nostalgic handmade pieces to modern celebrity lookalikes. It also features GI Joes, Barbies, and a Madam Alexander collection, among others. Through the exquisite displays, kids and adults get an interesting lesson in American history and experience a slice of Americana.

  • Historic Granbury Square

    Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Texas’s first downtown is filled with charming shops, great restaurants, and historic landmarks. Treat the kids to ice cream and candy at charming Merry Jayne’s or get them a cuddly teddy bear at BB’s Memory Bears and Boutique. And after a tiring day of shopping and strolling, head down to one of the many restaurants and bistros in the area for great eats. The square is also the venue for many of the city’s events and festivals.

  • The Granbury Ghosts and Legends Tour

    There’s no better way to explore Historic Granbury Square with the family than by joining this popular ghost tour. Get spooked by ghost stories and legends about the city, and meet ghoulish characters like the Lady in Red, the Faceless Girl, and Indian Joe as you take a guided walking tour around the square. Held every Friday and Saturday at 7:00 and 9:15 p.m., the tour starts on Bridge Street next to the Nutt House Hotel.

  • Arison Farms
    201 E. Pearl Street

    The entire family will love picking pumpkins, watermelons, blackberries, and other fruits and vegetables in season at this sustainable, family-owned farm. Or you can come and buy fresh produce, flowers, and potted plants at the front porch. The kids will love visiting with the animals in the farm, watching goats being milked, and going on tractor rides.
